Call
me to discuss any plane on my web site.
Please
call me at 763-389-9399 to
discuss any plane on my web site, or if I can help you find what you
are looking for. I'll be glad to tell you what I know about the
aircraft listed on our web site, and usually know where to locate
just about any make and model.
Some of the aircraft on my
site are courtesy listings for other dealers or brokers, and they
know much more about the plane than I do. I'll be glad to give you
their phone number, so you can contact them directly, or I can have
them call you. Usually, brokers do not allow contact with the owner
without a deposit, or until the pre-purchase inspection or closing.
Become
a "qualified buyer".
I'm
happy to provide basic information to all callers, but additional
photos, copies of logs, telling you exactly where the plane is, or
putting you in contact with the owner or mechanic, is reserved for
qualified buyers.
As far as I know, there are only three
ways to separate qualified buyers from those only mildly interested:
- You are a known aircraft dealer or
broker
- I sold you a plane before
- You show me the money
How
the Buying Process Works.
Once you
and I discuss the plane, and you are ready to go forward with the
purchase:
- I will contact the Seller immediately and let him know I
have a buyer, and a Purchase Agreement is being prepared.
- I will fax you the Purchase Agreement for your review,
signature, and fax back to me.
- Your signed contract is faxed to the seller for his
signature, and when I get it back, I will fax you a copy.
- I will put you in direct contact with the Seller, and
find a mechanic you can hire for a Pre-Buy Inspection.
VERY
IMPORTANT! Sometimes a buyer will "jump
the gun" and buy a non-refundable airplane ticket to go see
the plane, before we get a signed Purchase Agreement back from
the Seller, only to discover the plane was sold to someone else,
or was pulled from the market. So,
please wait before buying a plane ticket. I can't be
responsible for airline tickets.
- If you need financing, I can put you in touch with a
qualified lender, and often you can apply online. Lenders will
handle the title work, but if you are a cash buyer, we can
arrange to have a Title Search done. We can also recommend an
insurance agent to give you a quote on coverage, and, of course,
you may have your own sources.
- When your Pre-Purchase Inspection is completed, and you
are ready to close the transaction, we will assist as needed to
compete the transaction.
- If you require a Ferry Pilot to deliver the plane, we can
arrange it. The cost is very reasonable, and usually cheaper
than what it would cost you to go get the plane.
Show
me the money. I earn a fee from the owner when
a prospect that I refer purchases the plane. If you will deposit
that fee with me, I will work with you to complete the transaction.
Because the owner has agreed to pay me, your deposit is deducted
from the price of the airplane, and is refunded if you do not buy.
If
needed, I can help arrange financing, insurance, ferry pilots, lien
searches, or title company services.

Refund
Policy
If you purchase the plane, or
are involved in the purchase of the plane for others, I've earned my
fee.
If you do not purchase the plane, I will refund your
deposit. Once you've had a chance to visit with the owner, or go see
the airplane, and if you decide you are definitely not interested,
just call me, and I will send you a refund. Our contract states that
refunds will be made within 21 days of date of request. If you go
see the plane, or have someone inspect the plane for you, and then
decide not to buy, I will refund 100% of the deposit. On the other
hand, if you simply change your mind, without having the plane
inspected, or other circumstances prevent you from buying, we will
refund 60% of the deposit. If you commit to buy to the plane and
then default, or go past the closing date without mutual extension
by all parties, the deposit is forfeited.
Am
I qualified to sell you a plane?
I
sure hope so, after 35 years in the banking business, where aircraft
lending, including dealer floorplan, was a big part of my lending
career. I've been involved in the sale of aircraft on the Net since
1996, and maintain web sites for other dealers, in addition to my
own.
My reputation is good, and I
will be glad to give you references, both individual sellers and
dealers we work with, and buyers I've helped find the right plane.
I
am easy to get in touch with.
After
taking early retirement from banking in 1993, I work from my home
office, and can be reached early and late, 7 days a week at:
